Looks good. You may need to add the air deflectors that attach to the fairing. And if you decided to raise the fairing you'll get even more air up your legs and into your face.

Yes using the Memphis mounts it is a bolt on, didn't have to modify any thing.

I dunno, Mike... I think the headlight sits perfectly as it is. I don't think it's a touch too low at all. From that shot of your brackets, it looks like you could drop the fairing just a hair if you wanted to snug the top of the headlight up to the fairing a bit more.

Get the Memphis Shades wind deflectors for the sides of the fairing and play with the recurve windshield like you said... I bet that'll help a lot.

Looks fantastic man -- one thing about these Memphis Shades batwings that look so good on Dynas is that they're not as large as the HD touring fairings. Most other after market fairing companies make fairings for Dynas that try to be as big as the touring bike fairings and it ends up looking awkward IMO -- but yours looks just right..... especially with that headlight. Nice job.

Mike, That looks very good. Great idea using those brackets. They look good.

BTW: I'm surprised that your forks don't hit those lower deflector brackets when they compress...

Thanks!

The forks will clear, but the FORK BRACE won't if you don't add a bit of a cut-out on the
inner bottom edge of the Plexiglas. Almost everything I've done to this bike has required
small modifications to supposedly bolt-on hardware because I'm using more things in
combination than the manufacturers ever allowed for.

For instance, the front locating arm of the True Track will foul the inner flange of the
factory engine guard unless one corner of the guard's mounting is cut away and a new
bracket made. On older Dynas that have the flange on the bottom of the frame tube,
this wouldn't be a problem, but not on the newer ones that don't have that flange.

The JAGG 10-row vertical oil cooler (meant for an FL) will work fine on a Dyna.. IF you
don't have forward controls. If you do, it needs to have an extended bracket made to move
it a bit further out so that it clears the shift linkage.

Nothing all that difficult, but so many things require a bit of extra work for use on a
late model Dyna..

I talked to MS and they said that they knew that people were adapting their brackets for
all sorts of fitments, but they had no idea who had used what successfully on what and I
figured I'd rather just have some made than screw around and waste dinero on trying to
force something to work.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to wind up getting a Clearview so I'll be really interested in hearing
what you think once yours is installed.
