09chubbyRobert: Would like to see better pics of your bike with those bars. What is total rise on the mini-apes? I can't seem to find detailed info on them. I find stuff on the Short Stacks and the Vintage Apes but not the mini apes. Thx!
They are the short stacks....The guy already had them on when I bought it...he said they were from another company Road6Custom....he said 12inch mini apes...but for some reason i cant access their website. Saw RSD bars and figured they based their bars off of them. Some guys dont know Road Six Custom apparantly.
Rob: I believe thay are called "Vintage Apes" I believe thay come in 8", 10" and maybe 12" or 6" on the RSD site. They also have apes called "King Apes", which I believe are 16" or 17" and 18" or 19".
Ditch the front and rear reflectors, Cheapest quickest mod ever! Smoked turn signals ($30) and maybe a tribar smoked rear brake light. Those are my favorite cosmetic mods to date, the tribar cleans up the rear. You could also send the battery cover band to joe for powder coating
Is that a state law or something? You could just put both mirrors down then.
I have been running a single mirror for quite a while, california police do not seem to mind...from what i have seen...neither do KS, MO, IA, IL, or NE police. I was under the assumption that it was like a car...one required (rear view). Although I could be mistaken...but I am going to continue to sport only one until the locals tell me otherwise.
