Default Opinions on Fatbob look

Hey guys,
I recently purchased a Fat Bob from a buddy of mine and well I love it so far. Only a couple things I want to change and need some feedback. I know its my bike and ultimately it is up to me but I want somebody to tell me its a stupid idea if it is!
Basically I want this bike to look EVIL.
It is a demin black 09 Fat Bob with the RSD mini apes, RSD intake and V&H short shots with the black heat shield.
The first thing I want to do is replace the mirrors. I hate the mirrors that are on there. Granted I really dont use the mirrors, I just peek over my shoulder to check my blind spot but since I HAVE to have them, I might as well have some style to it. I REALLY wanted the buckshot mirror stems and thought about either the square mirrors http://www.kcint2.com/c=kNYEu9QTJ2Fa...-CHOPPERS.html
or diamond mirrors but instead of having it look like a diamond, make it so it looks like a square but the top two points are out further than the bottom two. That one is kinda hard to explain.

The other option, although I have seen it before on the site on a CrossBones...is teardrop mirrors. (Yes the Crossbones had the EXACT same handlebars and exhaust....found it AFTER i bought the bike but ah well)

Finally, I want a second color (or third if you count the lil bit of chrome on the bike). I want the color to go around the HD logo on both sides of the gas tank, and a similar design on the rear fender...not sure about the front fender though. Should I leave that just black? Or do the design up there too?

Also the color is what I am really debating right now.....I am torn between a blood red (to make it look evil) and I thought about a burnt orange and I realized, holy crap its the Harley colors and that of course would look badass.

Need opinions! Thanks!

We have similar bars, what I did was go to one mirror (left side, of course) and flipped it so that it is under my bar instead of over it. It gives a clean look up top. Make sure you buy a small enough mirror so that when you turn your bars your mirror dosen't hit your tank. I need to find some pictures...

In my opinion, there is a lot of HD orange on bikes these days...I think the red would be a good way to go.

I have these in black with 3-D flames on the back side! I too rarely use my mirrors, I got these because of what they say.

09chubbyRobert: Would like to see better pics of your bike with those bars. What is total rise on the mini-apes? I can't seem to find detailed info on them. I find stuff on the Short Stacks and the Vintage Apes but not the mini apes. Thx!

Rob: I believe thay are called "Vintage Apes" I believe thay come in 8", 10" and maybe 12" or 6" on the RSD site. They also have apes called "King Apes", which I believe are 16" or 17" and 18" or 19".

+1 on that. I think the contrast of the red on the black looks good and also agree with the one mirror on the bottom of the bars.
