Like Bberck said they will swap. I have a low rider and a street bob they have the same tanks, or you can do what Bberck did which looks quite nice by the way for a little more cost. If ya want to have a little fun go back and have him explain in detail why they won't interchange and sit back and enjoy the show.Probably tell you the street bob dash does'nt have a hole for a tach.
Jimbo96,
The Lowrider in the picture, is that Dragonfly Green and black? if so join the club, I purchased mine this past Nov. I really liked the color, it reminded me of the 1999 FXR3 with the green flames. Anyway, I would like to see more pictures when you get the chance. what size and kind are those bars anyway ? Thanks
Three good ideas below. I was thinking of doing a Screamin Eagle Dyna setup (see last photos below), pretty much like bberck's and relocating the tachometer to the risers.

The street bob dash works on a low rider they use the same tank. I have a tank off a low rider on my super glide I went with the 2010 wide glide dash so I could move the switch from the neck.
If you don't want to lose the tach you could run a speedo tach combo. Several guys also just added some LED lights to the LR dash to replace the stock dummy lights. I even saw one guy mount the stock lights between the tach and speedo.
I am thinking of a bar swap as well on my 07 LR. The lights in the clamp are the biggest pain to deal with. I have seen some of these mods done before and I really like either milling down the risers or mounting the lights between the gauges as the best options. The SB dash is really nice also but I do like having the tach and modifying the LR dash is something that is fairly easy for me to do. I do have a milling machine and a lathe but both are in storage right now so for me the dash is the easiest way to go, now if I could just decide on the bars......
jims79flh,
I'd like to see some photos,of the finished product, when you get the chance. Thanks
I will post them this weekend after I get my new Bars in (The bars that I was installing this last weekend had a big nick in the chrome, so I sent them back)
Sorry to bother you again w6 but I love what you did with your stock risers and I was wondering how difficult it was for you and if you might consider doing it for me if I paid you. I am fairly mechanically inclined so a detailed explanation of this process would also help. Thanks in advance.
