I'm so excited I can hardly stand myself. Last week I bought a black 2011 Fatbob. I currently have 2 other bikes (2006 softail deluxe & 2010 sporster 48) but I can see this fatbob being my favorite. The reason I went for the fatbob is because my first ever Harley was an FXR and I loved that bike and wished I would have kept it. The fatbob seems to be the closest current model to that FXR I had. I'm hoping this bike handles the turns and has plenty of get up and go. My favorite riding is up in northern Arizona on the mountain roads that have all kinds of twists and turns. The bike is currently at the dealer getting some new pipes, air filter and sert (stage 1) as well as some other mods (wide glide rear fender). So can you dyna guys tell me if I'm going to love this bike?
Shortly after buying my FXDF I needed to seek medical attention. The doctor informed me the constant grin on my face is a side effect of riding a Fat Bob so I’d better get used to it! Ride safe and enjoy the new bike. Post up some pics when you can…

I know what you're goin' through. Changed over from an FXRS-SP to an FXDF two months ago. First thing I did was have the forwards swapped out for mids to give me a little of that FXR control, and it feels sweet!
Damn! 3 bikes in the garage to choose from? You got it made! I love the Fat Bob, was close but went for the Wide Glide instead...great choice! You will find yourself choosing the FB over the others simply because of the ride! I see that Softail fading into the backround....If you keep the sportster then you'll have two distinct choices...have fun
