Any pics of the mounts? curious how much space it takes up and how it keeps from leaning back. It looks like it uses one bolt. Will it fit between the fender support and saddlebags? Thanks
Here is a little closer pic of the softail mounting bracket on the Protac that I turned over to make it work on my Dyna since they dont make one to fit an 07 Dyna.
Passengers dont even notice its there..

Thanks for the info. Just visited their site and tried calling them and it seems the phone numbers have been discontinued. Are they still in business?

I bought one for my Wife's Softail, decided to put it on my 07 FXD.
I just flipped the brackets and drilled to bottom open so it was fully adjustable, I even drilled and put in set screws to lock it in place and keep someone from stealing it.
Make long rides (and short rides) way comfortable.
Pics in my gallery.
go with a different seat that you can use a driver backrest. i have two seats that can take backrests a solo and two-up seat. its easy just slide it into its hole and go take 1 second. solo is a saddlman and the two-up is a corbin both i bought used on ebay. jackyl

Saw one setup where they redesigned the detachable sideplate, elongating it a few inches in the front, and moved the sissy bar mounts off the back (where the passenger backrest would go) and moved them forward behind the driver seat. Seemed like a pretty good solution.
