I know the baffles can be changed on the rush. I'm talking about the thunder header Baffles?

I really don't want another dyna. I ran across a good deal. Very very cheap. Only has 300 miles on it

The only pipe louder that I had or heard were the SE II slip on's I had (old style) with BCT baffles in them, pretty much WIDE OPEN and they were louder......



your the first person I've ever heard describe it as "quiet"!

Wow! Don't hear that to often...although I have never really run a Thunderheader on a stock motor cause the first thing I do on any bike I've had is tear into the motor! Seems like anymore noise wouldn't really sound clean...if that makes any sense, lol! Baffle in the Thunderheaders can't be changed...well I guess it can, but it wouldn't be a Thunderheader anymore!

True that...ya my speedsters with bcts are very very loud. Makes this th a quiet pipe. I have heard them with engine work and they are loud as ****..stock equals quiet. Period.... I wonder what kind of engine work they have done to their bike to wake that boy up? Cams?

Mine is rather stock and not quiet.

But the added compression/cams is what is pushing the air out at a faster rate/more volume, hence more sound.

yeah you gotta run cams and/or other engine work to make the t-header scream...my buddies bike is stock and his t-headers arent loud....
