Both of those are real nice. My vote is for black. I like the brown on a more vintage style bike, and with all the black stuff you added to you bike that would be my choice. The fact that I have a black solo did not influence my decision. Actually, it's your decision.

I think the black would look better. I wonder if this bag would work with the detachable backrest since it goes over the strut cover?

Black for sure!

To be honest if you were to go with a brown bag it would become a focal point. Not something I would want, and you asked for my opinion.
But you know what opinions are like right?
