Wide Rear Tire Kit for Dyna
Time to replace the rear tire on my 2009 FXD. Saw that Harley has a wide tire kit. Has anyone had this installed, or, could speak to the pros/cons of a wider rear tire?

I'm about ready to replace my second Dunlop rear and first front. Both my local indies say that they
doubt I'd see any real handling improvement from a 180 (but they'd happily take my money..LOL!!)
I know that Metzlers, Pirelli and possibly Avons will handle better, but also wear faster.
I'll have just about 7,000 -7.500 on my rear and about 12,000 on the front when I replace them.
What sort of mileage are people getting from the 180? Anything similar to what I've been getting
from the stock Dunlops??? I replaced the original rear at 4k because I was about to start a 3,000
mile trip and didn't want to change on the road, but it was still pretty fat when I did.
Since the Dunlops are getting good mileage and have decent handling, I don't want to go to a
different tire just for looks, but will do so for an actual improvement.
