Wide Tire Kit
I have a 99 fxdl. i need to replace the rear tire and was thinking of going with a wide tire kit. I guess you can use the stock wheel?I was wondering who has done this and if they rec. doing it.also,im thinking about replacing the brake pads.the bike has 20,000 miles on it.at end of last year,it started to sound like to me wear indicators were starting to make noise.how many miles should i get out of brakes on avg.?any info would help.thanks.

Rear around 20,000 maybe, front around 30,000 maybe. It depends on your riding style.
check them, you should be able to check them without removing them. If not it is simple to take em off just to check.
