Default rode today

it has been cold, but dry, for a couple days here in northeren ohio. had the tank and foot pegs off, but the sun was out, about 38 degrees. couldn't stand it, slapped stuff back on, got my coat and gloves and went for about an hour ride. sure runs good sucking that cold air.

Jealous.

Did you wash the salt dust off your bike after? It could eat away your bike over winter. Be careful.

Funny, I put some distance on mine over the weekend too. Of course it was probably 1/4 mile in total. I was merely moving it out from behind my car so my dad and I could install my 2" tank lift....and felt compelled to ride up and down my parking garage. It has 8 levels. Man, that was a freaking tease.

Is it April yet?

Rode about 100 miles on Sunday. Comparably warmer in southern AZ. But sunshine is deceptive with windchill.

I rode today too. Here in DE it got up to 40 degrees as a high. I didn't leave until about 3:45 or 4:00 so was cooling off. I went to the gas station and then back. It was cold on the ears and fingers but other than that, not too horribly bad. It was nice to be out.

Good stuff. Would love to take a spin on my scoot. It's just been too cold here in Virginia, plus we had a snow storm on Christmas Day and the day after, and there's still salt on the road. Might snow again this weekend. Hoping for a good rain to wash the salt off the roads and a little warmer weather (at least 40 degrees).

It must be 75 degrees out on the Eastern tip of the Arabian Peninsula. This is our peak riding season. We have a suckling pig roast at the Hyatt this weekend followed next weekend with a 250 mile ride down the coast for an overnight at the resort!!

Come on over & see us, it'll give us an excuse to reciprocate when it's 110 here in the summer!!

I have rode for the last 2 days here in South Carolina. Lows of 26 and hi of maby 55. I went to work yesterday at 4am and didnt get home untill 630pm so the sun was down on both trips. Im now riding today because its gonna rain. The cold dosnt realy bother me, I just bundle up with my chaps and jacket and gloves and stuff and roll on. If it aint raining, im ridin.

I rode yesterday from F'Burg to Quantico and the only time it was uncomfortable was when I drove down by the mainside clinic (by the water). The breeze blowing in from the Potomac was COLD!!!
