I love the old-school badges... unfortunately, the Super Glide came with decals on the tank, not badges.

Damned clear-coat over the decal. I'll have to re-paint my tank before I can get badges.

I got my decals off by sliding 40 feet in the sand by the edge of the road! Worked real well! Oh, yea... took some skin off too!!!

The badges are fine looking, maybe too simple in design.

BUT ... We all know a custom tank paint job will put a bigger smile on your face and "Say Something Special".

I'd opt for unique!

Also these type of stick ons become dirt traps, polish pains, knee bangers and never, I mean never seem to go on level or equally balanced from side to side and will constantly draw your mind to it.

They are ok, I have seen better looking ones. Any other possible ones you like?

What he said.

I want to paint/powdercoat my tank but I can't seem to make up my mind on the direction. it's probably because I'm still deciding on other areas and the tins might come last.

I have a $4 Chicago Blackhawks vinyl sticker on one side of my tank. It's actually been quite the conversation piece. Well, in Chicago anyway.

Here's a quick view of what it may look like. I just guessed on the badge size and position. Hope this helps.

Well, paint is anywhere from $1500-2000 grand. I'm just not going to spend that much cash painting a tank. I haven't seen any new bike running around with these badges, so to me that is unique. I would much rather spend that coin on new rims!

Evil: You did a damn good job guessing on the position and size! They are a little bigger I believe, but you gave me a really good, general idea of how they are going to look.

There are other badges out there, but I'm going for the old school look. I like how simple these badges are, and how at the same time, they aren't just Harley Davidson stamped in a straight line or something. Thanks guys, for your opinions.

Whew! Big coin for paint work. Thought there was a lot more "reasonable" $$$ range out there to add art work directly to the tank.

Ah but now that people have seen it here everyone's going to be putting them on. Just kidd'in you.

We agree to disagree. What I didn't think made a statement is just the statement you want to make.

Be sure to come back and show us the big finish.

I think they look just fine, retro look is +1 in my book, as far as shipping in new toys, I have mine sent to the work place, removed from packaging and slipping in the side door of the shop, so far have just about rebuilt entire bike and wifey , ( not harley person yet), really hasn't noticed yet, now how can I explain the new paint I want mmmmmmm
