Checkout the Fuel Moto web site for the new tuner system from Power Commander people. Works like to TTS system but you do not need a laptop computer, it has it's own monitor. It's pricey if you want to go the auto tune route. I'm looking real closely at it.
My 1st go around with A/C and Mufflers I just had them do a remap or what ever. This last trip to the shop with a couple boxes of parts I sent along a SE Super Tuner.
Tech told me I got lucky as I had the earlier version and the newest one is a PITA.
Was was even happier when I told him what I paid for it still in the sealed box.
Cute little orange thing that plugs in somewhere and hooks up to his lap top....Hell if I know but right now I am running a breakin in program until I get 1000 miles on it and take it back to be dyno'ed and he told me to bring alone the Tuner.
just wondering why everyone always goes with the PC and not spend a little more and just a auto tuning system like the TTS or thunder max that utilize the o2 sensors instead of eliminating them. If I did'nt already have a PC I would go that route, just my 2 cents
One reason, not all of us have O2 sensors in our pipes. I am in the process of building a custom set of pipes that will have the bungs so I can go with a TTS type unit, but for now the PCIII is what I run.
I did the pipes / air cleaner and dealer download approx. $150.00 - then I bought some Xied's approx. $100.00 - changed the pulley to a 30T and bought a unit to correct the speedometer approx. $100.00.
Finally bought a TTS with USB cable approx. $475.00
My point is - I kept thinking "just one more thing" ... if I would have bought the TTS in the begining I would have been set.
I'm putting in a bolt in cam in a couple of weeks - glad I have a TTS.
go with Fuel Motto 240 for just pc111. get breather and tuner for 320 customer service is great they will load map for you.
will make a noticiable difference.

Yup, The TTS system was just dynoed on a Street Bob Stage 1 Thunderheader equipped machine and it made killer tq (98ft lbs) numbers and 73HP. Thats impressive out of a stock engine...Pick up the latest Hot Bike magazine.
Thundermax system with autotune is also a great choice.

I guess it depends on whether you really are going to stop with just a new air filter and pipes. That is all I will ever do so I went with the HD download and am very happy. This is how the bike should be from the factory. Really woke the bike up. If I'm not careful the front wheel will come up on the second to third shift. If you think you might go with more then, like others have said, I'd go with one of the tuners.
