Funny, I orderd a Rifle Roadster Fairing thru Dr V-Twin on the 12-24-10
And today I was thinking of e-mailing Shawn one of the salesman at Dr V-tins to ask if they had an update on my order....A few minutes later the door bell rang and it was UPS, yes I luv the brown truck....
I received my Rifle Roadster Fairing....I luvingly unpack it....Glance over the instructions...very vage...So I called Rifle and they set me straight on a couple of things....
All hardware is included....I got the unpainted version....with the 15" windshield....
I managed to get it all mounted up....The hardest part was spacing and raising the headlite....They supplied all of the spacers etc, ya just had to figure in what order and how....3rd time i had it....
You only have to drill one mounting hole, a 1/4" one under the headlite.
I went for a short ride on the freeway....up to 80, no pressure on the chest at all, nice with a full face....a little wind on the arms of course....I plan on putting on the National cycle hand deflectors, that should help the hands....
Over all I like it so far....I know, no pics it didn't happen....After I get it painted I will of course take pictures....

They are pretty durable too. I have over 50,000 fast miles on the one i put on my 05, also with a 15" shield. It finally started to crack in a couple places and i just reinforced it with fiberglass. It's still on there and looking good. I had to replace the windshield last year when it developed some cracks but it's been through 50,000 miles. Excellent wind protection with full face helmet. I use an older AGV Demon.

That is about the same as my old stock setup on my FXDXT. Except mine had an adjustable windshield. I found it was a little too narrow to really 'protect' me. But it was definitely better then no windshield! lol!

Rifle dose not have everything listed on there site....
Call them, they have a set up for pretty much everything....
When I orderd thru Dr V-Twin I just told them I had a 08 FXDC with 49mm forks and wanted the appropiate hardware....they deliverd.
