I got my bike torn down and ready for some powder,,,But man do i feel sick,,,i haven't started my bike in two weeks,,,I thought doing a burn out would hold me over for sometime ,but i was wrong , right know if i new how to ride a wheelie with no hands,,i would be on it,,,

Im caught between two fender mods,,,i pulled the 2010 and have a 08 to put on and fill the holes or im going to chop the struts and chop and fab the 2010 fender,,

Flip your bars upwards, looks like its living brake fluid from the vent hole, most brake fluid will case some damage to your paint

Sweet project though, you can't go wrong with the shaved 08 fender, chopping can either be nice or ruin it in my opinion.

It's your bike I'm sure you'll be happy either way

Was it a pain to pull the triple trees and fork sliders apart? Thinking of doing the same thing on my dyna.

Not at all,,,,the only problem i ran into was pulling apart my forks ,,,,i had to pull out progressive drop in springs and reinstall the stock springs ,,,to create enough spring tension to hold the seat pipe in place,so i could break the seat pipe bolt,,,,,other than that it was simple ,,,If you like to work on things then youll enjoy it as much as i did,,
