I looked on Race Tech's site and they do not have them listed for the Dyna BUT-
They do list them for the 05 v-rod which I belive shares the same conventional 49 mm fork.
Should work right?
That's the theory. I purchased a set of valves and springs last week. They're still sitting on the bench. I plan on installing them in the next couple of weeks. I'll let you know how it goes.
Also, you may not have noticed that the fork legs do not have a drain port. To change fluids, you have to remove the forks and turn them upside down. Since I'll have the whole thing disassembled, I'm also going to drill and tap for a 1/4" pipe plug. You can't use drain screws like last year, because that requires a flat boss for sealing; which the new legs do not have.
Cool. Let mw know how it goes. I looked at HD's web site and the forks look identical from the V-Rod to the Dyna. Would make sense from a MFG's point of view to use the same part for different models so I am assuming that is the case. I did the Progressive 418's and am happy with them but do feel that the front defiantely needs a bit more umph in the handling dept. Gold valves are cheap enough so if it works wellI will do the same during the winter.
