Had my bike shipped to Germany. Before I left I disconnected the battery, drained the oils, and drained the fuel. Now when I turn the switch to ignition the lights come on, turn signals don't work, ignition fuse blows, the security light stays on. Something I just thought of is when we drained the fuel tank I thought there was a wire on the inside of the fuel line about the connector.....Could I of pulled on it too hard and shorted something? Maybe it wasn't a wire but it looked like one.
The bike has been running fine for 6000 miles (last 5000 with a PC-V).
unplug indicators etc and try again write what you do until you eliminate it, i keep popping fuse when I had the spare wire at the back touch indicator wires, does it do anything after blowing the fuse(turn over etc?

Nope it won't start at all. As soon as I turn the switch to ignition it pops...I'm going to try removing my PC-V.
Did they fold your handlebars back to ship? A friend of mine has internally wired Ape hangars and the loosened the top clamp and rotated the bars back basically popping all the wires inside. Something to think about.
So I solved the blown ignition switch by taking out the PC-V and plugging the stock plug in. Now it's running.
Now I want to know..is it ok to run it for a few weeks with the stock fuel controller? It's all stock except for the V&H Big Shots.
Why all of a sudden did the PC-V start blowing the ignition fuse and why would it. Was the PC-V shorted, did you find the source of the problem? Sounds like you might have only disturbed a short to ground when you replaced the PC and did not fix the problem. ???

PC-V have been known to cause all types of random issues, usually if they get wet, so it was a good move eliminating it from the equation. Leave the questions to the engineers, I haven't heard a decent explanation yet for all the problems they've caused, so I wouldn't be too quick to expect a rider to have the end all answer as to why...
@OP, pipes with no changes to your intake is fine to run with the stock fuel equipment and settings. There are those that would argue even with both pipes and intake the stock narrow band 02 system has enough adjustment capability to maintain the 14.6 to 1 mixture.
Ride it, no worries.

Blowing a 15A fuse? Is there a thread(s) on PC-V blowing fuses, I know moisture can wreak havoc, but not where I have read blowing fuses.

Search "power commander fuse," there are 70 posts using that criteria on this forum alone. So between here, HDTalking, VTwin and all the other hd forums, I'd say yeah, there is a pretty substantial history of power commander issues involving a fuse in some way or another.
MConde85 that is great news!!!! Glad you were able to track down the problem and get your ride up and running....Hopefully the PC is under warranty and they will replace it for you. As far as running the stock setup on your bike with the mods that have been done I would keep an eye on the plugs to see how the motor is running. You don't want to be running too lean as this can cause serious problems, I know because I have been there, many years ago.....Just keep an eye on them and I think you should be fine.....
