I handle heavy equipment tires for a living, I've been through about 15 pairs in the last year. Thank god my employer pays for them.

I always wear through the fingertips.

I wear 'em all the time, driving to work, when I'm at work (oilfield) and when I ride...I see thru the link there are many styles/colors I was not aware of...this thread just cost me a couple hundred bucks!!!

I wear deerskin with thinsulate all the time, and in the winter, the same gloves for snowmobiling and plowing snow. I have at least 6 pairs from the garage ,to in the helmet, to all vehicles, and never leave them at the bar.

I use them in the shop, around the house, and at work.
I wear regular leather gloves when riding.

I ride in these as well. Way cheaper than the H-D brand and last longer IMO. I got the anti-shock one's with the gel padded palms.

I use them when I work on my vehicles and thought about trying to ride with them but never thought about buying another pair just for that. My shop one's are all nasty now...but they work just fine to work on vehicles.

Maybe - but if you go down you might as well not be wearing gloves because they will shred in an instant. I'd rather have sweaty palms than bloody palms. Just sayin.........

I always buy the Sears brand when on sale for $9.99 - use for everything outdoors. Don't plan on going down on bike, but if it ever happens it's at least better than nothing (like jeans).
