I am looking for a cover for my 2001 wide glide that I can take on the road that is compact for when I stay at a hotel. Any info/experiences please,
Thanx.

What if it's upstairs and I don't have my stair tires on?

Just ask for a downstairs room when you make your reservation.

Guess this depends on the choice of accomadations you have. You can ride into the room if you stay at a roadside motel like a Motel 6, Comfort Inn, Days Inn, etc. Most of these places have ground floors that enter from the parking lot. Have seen a few that have a few stairs going up from the parking lot to the sidewalk....guess you'd need to use the handicap ramp.

If you're staying at a Hyatt, Radison or the Waldorf, etc...lol...Fughettaboutit

Get one that says Honda on it to deter any potential thieves.

I have a Dowco Guardian weatherall plus cover that fits in my headlight barrel bag. It fills pretty much the entire thing, but it fits. They can be had quite inexspensively on the web. Here is a link to some of them. http://shopping.yahoo.com/search;_yl...cle+cover&did=

I just picked one up a month ago for $25 at Menards home improvement store. It is nylon w/heat shields at the bottom.
They had 3 sizes and I got the large for my Super Glide.
Haven't had the chance to use it yet, bought it for when we stay up north when it rains, hadn't rained while we were up there.
