The instructions are confusing as hell.
Has anyone installed the rear pillion seat successfully with the grab strap?
Or should the strap be skipped. It says that the strap has to be mounted with the screw going from under the fender. Is this possible with the wheel on?
I'm a bit confused. Can anyone provide me with some simple instructions on this, please?
i havent put a screw in there, or tried to mount a seat so sorry if this info is of no value, but hey worth a try..... i put a rack on there with a plug underneath and found a piece of fishing line handy to get it in.
.....try putting some line thru the hole from the top, push thru until you can grab it, tie on the screw and pull it back up. dunno, havent seen the screw so maybe its too long for that.
unfortunately that was the only use my line got in the last 2 years. maybe next year.
I did put the strap on, but I will tell you know that it is not easy. I put mine into the bolt hole that is closest to the front of the bike, under the seat that is not being used, I believe. If you are going to do this, you will need to jack the bike up some how. Good luck and if you need any more help, let me know.
