I'm sure Hitch Doc can fit you out with a hitch...

Got a bud that pulls a HF trailer with his Wide Glide.

I have close to 100k miles pulling a piggybacker trailer and a camping trailer with a few different baggers.

A few important things are:

Tongue weight
Gonna take longer to stop
Gotta remember you are longer when changing lanes

I have never felt uncomfortable pulling a trailer, just have to remember it's back there.

Here's a few pics-

Using the cargo trailer to pick up inventory

On a road trip somewhere in Georgia

Camping in Alabama

Pop up tent trailer in Indiana

Don't really remember what State this was, but it was a nice little campground we stopped at on a cross-country trip.

I've been happy with Kury hitches and Hitchdoc. Also, make sure to use an isolator module between your bike wiring and the trailer wiring, that way if there is a problem with the trailer wiring it does not migrate to the bike electronics.

Have fun!

I keep it between 30-35 lbs. A fish scale is a fast easy way to check your tongue weight.

Also you want to have the bike end of the tongue to be an inch or so lower than the trailer end of the tongue, this keeps it handling nicely.

Camped across from a guy pulling a trailer with his Dyna on the way to Sturgis. I think it was a '05 Lowrider. He said it pulled just fine, even at 80 mph. Don't listen to these clowns telling you to drive a car, apparently they don't ride any farther than the local ice cream shop. I say go for it.

Yea, instead listen to the clown above, he likes Pabst so you know he has to have good taste in things.

Good to know. Your hitch bolted to your struts? Most the dyna hitches I've seen are bolted down that way. I figure to keep the weight down in general anyway, just looking at options to carry a few things down low instead of having **** sticking out and up like I've seen some who carry camping equipt.

Yeh drnk_n_publick I've never been too worried about what others run off about....like oinker in a blanket....lol....Pig, I was weaned on PBR and have put away a few truck loads over the years. Ya gotta be a man to drink real beer....lol. I've graduated onto Amber Bock at the moment tho. First one's on me....
