I'm hoping I can get some help here. Just picked up my new 2011 Wide Glide. It's a sweet ride - but much too quiet for my liking. I am looking into Rush slip-ons and I've been going back and forth between the 2.0 and 2.25 inch baffles. I want the deepest sound I can get - not necessarily the loudest. It's hard to tell from the Rush website sound bytes. Not doing any other mods to the bike - per Rush's advice. Any suggestions??
2.0. I took this vid of my changeover -- it's not the best mic, so the sound isn't accurate. But, if you know the sound of your stock exhaust, you can figure out the difference between stock & Rush 2.0's.
I have rush slipons with 2" baffle as well. I believe Rush told me that if you go with the 1.75 or 2" baffle you dont have to do any other canges. But if you went to the 2.25 you would need a tuner of some sort. I have the stage 1 download from harley and the screaming eagle ac.
I've seen your video before - great stuff! I have the exact same bike - sedona. Did you have to get the air cleaner and download? I'm wondering if it will sound the same without the mods. Thanks for the response.
I put the 2.25 on the wife's Nightster and it sounds good at idle but at speed it sounds to much like drag pipes. I will end up buying different baffles for it.

I did not have to put on the ac or download. I know i wanted to change out the AC so by doing that i had to get the download. LIke someone mentioned call Rush they are great to work with. There is even a rush rep here on the forum. If I can remember his id i will let you know. I worked with him and he was great.
I installed the 1.75 baffles, sounds good enough without getting too load.
I don't like to wake everyone in the neighborhood in the early AM.
It still gets the car alarms going though.
When I want to hear it better I just crank it up some.
With the new noise laws comming out I took a comprimise with the 1.75.
Another thing is I don't want to spend the money yet on the fuel mods.
I still have my lower end too.
I did install the nightrider o2 richeners that alter the fuel mix from 14.7 to 13.8.
Along with the Rush slip-ons, O2 richeners, K+N filter only, I stayed away from spending a fortune and getting a boost from the stock system.
Putting my money in the suspension now.
