Canadian Wide glides

Does anybody know why the canadian wide glides have a fender mounted tail light and no side mount liceance plate. I sure do prefer the clean fender, kinda bummed mines gonna have that tail light. Gonna have to be getting rid of it asap!! Is there a kit that turns your signals into tail light, brake light and turn signals.

Same as the UK (HDI) models.

I'm not complaining though, makes my WG fender and side mount stand out from the crowd!

And yes, Harley do a kit to convert to the US spec fender.

Thanks for the info, i kinda figured it had something to do with the government. I will have to wait till i see it in person but i think the tail light is going to have to go.

I believe they make a US and an international version. Like was said before, the Wide Glides also have the center tail light over here in England. It threw me off the first time I walked into the dealer.
