Default SE Roller Rockers

Going to SE204's and replacing tappets with SE Roller Tappets. Any advantage of adding SE Roller Rockers as long as I in there? Thx!

At .508 lift no real benifit to a roller rocker IMO. I would also reuse the lifters as well. My 107 with a .615 lift cam is using stock lifters. Many guys prefer stock lifters.

I would think it would make for a snapier throttle and a quieter valve train.

I agree with that cam roller rockers arnt needed, I have a .590 lift cam and I dont need them... As for lifters the harley B lifters are pretty damn good lifters alot of guys use them on bigger builds. Woods makes some directional lifters you can go for but non of these are needed for your setup.. if you want to spend some money I would do a Fueling Oil pump or soemthing like that.. Just my .02

I mean if you have the extra $$$ by all means you can add roller rockers and in the future you go to a high lift cam then you will be covered there so it cant hurt I just wouldnt make it a must add on with you cam.. If I have some extra money I may do them......

No plans to swap lifters or rockers in my 103 with TRs 662-1s.

I used Fueling Reaper Race Roller Lifters on my 88-95 inch upgrade....Just remembered they were the hot deal back in my Muscle Car days.

I just figured what the heck while it was torn down.

There is no reason for SE roller tappets either, the stock roller tappets are fine unless you have a lot of miles on them. I installed the NON-roller SE 1.725 rockers for the extra lift, .510 to .541, they were only $150. shipped.
