I bought a 2010 WG last May but didn't get much time to ride and enjoy it because I was sent to deploy to Iraq. Now I'm within a month of my return and I would like to be a part of a community for HD riders.
About me, I have been riding for about 2 years now, my first bike was a Honda shadow 559cc (I know, pretty awesome) but had to upgrade to something much bigger (so to speak). Anyways, I'm 23 years old and never really been a fan of crotch rockets and I have always liked the look and ruggedness of cruisers, especially the roar of the exhaust.
Since I got a month left to get back to my Harley I would like to start looking for different parts and exhaust systems for my HD so can anyone give me a couple of recommendations? I really don't know whats out there as far as exhaust systems.

check out the picture threads and see what you like and what you dont, should give you a good place to start thinking about what you want yours to be like.
Might just be me but I browse them backward so I see the newest stuff first
Yup look around found out what your looking for, slip ons, 2into1, or 2into2 headers. Performance wise you prolly want 2into1 or slip ons. Welcome to the forum brother hope you find what your looking for
I just bought my first Harley yesterday, and my plan is to take the advice I saw over and over here: ride it for a while first, THEN decide what you want to change.
I have some ideas, but I'm gonna wait to start upgrading till I find something I think needs upgrading.
If I can figure out a way to get just a LITTLE more sound out of the pipes, that would be a good start. Not ready for slipons or Stage 1 yet.
Welcome to the forums, and THANK YOU for serving this country.
Ride the bike a bit, and figure out what you need first. No sense in blowing 500 bucks on pipes only to realize that you need new bars or seat for comfort. Same, no sense in spending money on new seats if the stock one would have worked fine for a few months. Give it a few hundred miles, and by the end you will have a pretty good idea of what you want.

wat are you riding? i just modified my stock mufflers and am very pleased. im on a 2010 fxd its not the easiest thing to knock out the bung from the outlet side so i removed the mufflers and knocked out most of the mesh from the inlet side.
