What do you need to know? Do you have a service manual for your bike?
My thoughts exatly. What exatly do you need help with? I did mine and it took about 30 min and I never done it before. ALso the problem with the video above on the install is that its not the same for the dyna. Touring has the fbw and we have cable throttle. So let me know what exatly is your question and i can help ya.
That is why I put the link to the second video. It shows the method to adjust both the throttle and idle cables. Once you get the concept, it is really quite simple.
One of the more important things to be mindful of in doing this is to ensure that you keep the brake lever depressed when installing the switch housing. The brake light switch is a small black button in the housing cover and very easily damaged, you will see it when you remove the cover.
Good advice here & looks like everything's covered so dig into that bike & get some mechanical confidence for future projects. Let us know how it goes when finished...
I've installed two sets one for me and one for a buddy with a Vulcan, if you mark the position of the lock nut on the cables ,with a marker for instance!, you can literally just roll them back to where they were.
On a dyna you don't need to remove the left hand switch housing. And I never cut the grip just grabbed and and pulled with a twist and off she came. However I presume they don't always get the same amount of glue into every grip so you may have to cut as in the above video ( the first one.)
