Default changing out hand grips
I want to change the grips on my 2011 Fat Bob. I have the grips. The ones I have, someone decided the end cap on one was neat. They took a knife to it. The frikin' thing just pops out, for cryin out loud! Any online videos on how to properly do this? I don't have a shop manual and I know the ferules are a little tricky on the throttle side. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, bros and sistahs!

Not to jack your thread but i am going to be changing my grips too. Just wondering what you used for grip glue and where you got it.. thanks

Not sure what kind of grips you are planning on getting, but I got the harley get a grips that are held in place by the switch housings and don't require glue. They were really easy to install.

Just put new Avons on mine and didn't use glue this time. They seem steady as if I had.

I would glue them. The temp changes and things can become loose. I wouldn't want to be pulling a turn and have the grip come off. All bike shops sell the glue and most kits come with it.
