Ok, I am new to this forum and a Harley. I just bought a 011 Super Glide yesterday and now I have a few questions. I bought this to have an "in town" bike as I already have a touring bike. My question is does any have the Alibi fork bag? If so is it worth having? I am looking for something to hold my glasses/sunglasses and gloves. Second question, as I have never owned a Harley prior, if I want to change out the stock exhaust for something just slightly louder what is a good choice? Thanks for any input you can provide.
Welcome to the forum and the Harley family. Do a search on this forum and most of your questions will be found and answered. The exhaust question is on here multiple times.
I bought my fork bag from the local flea market for $15. Looks good and has survived rain, snow, & hail - still in the same condition as when I bought it. There's pics of it in my album. Don't think I could bring myself to pay more than that for one.
As for exhaust, you could put screamin eagle muffles on or knock/take the baffles out of the stock ones. Knocked the baffles out of my stock mufflers & it's louder than my friends 1200 sporty with screamin eagle mufflers. Love the sound!
