Default Need help with electrical issue

I was out riding my 09 Street Bob today and during the ride my bike blew the accessory fuse, the one that runs the turn signals and brake light. I replaced it with a spare and a few minutes later blew the fuse again. Without the fuse the turn signal running lights still work but the brake light does not and the turn signals don't blink when turned on. I had stuff to do after I got home so i won't be able to look for the problem to tomorrow but I was wondering if anyone has run into this issue before or had any ideas on why i keep blowing this fuse. Thanks for any help.

Check your throttle assembly, sounds like a short at either the front brake switch or a piched wire in the right side controls.

Had a short here once (fronm changing bars) and as soon as I hit the front brake..pop..no blinkers or tail light.

Hope this helps.

What if anything have you modified, have you done any electrical work, added additional lights.
What did you recently do to the bike, adjust the hand controls or bars?
Things like that don't just happen without some kind of change causing it.

Is your bike lowered? If so you might want to check the wires running under the rear fender as they might have become damaged.....

Thanks for the advice guys, as far as the mods I have changed the bars about five months ago the bike has been lowered since I have had it for three years but I put on a new rear fender 5 months ago so I had to mount the wire's conduit again when I did that, the latest thing I have done was put my rear turn signals back on the relocation mount after having them off for a while. I'm going to look it over today and hopefully find the issue.

So I checked out my bike and found that the wires in the right hand control looked like they were pinched but after I straightened them out and put the controls back together I checked the stop and turn signal all the left turn signal flashes about 2-3 three times normal and then starts flashing faster than it should. Figure it might be the stop/turn module anyone know if there is a way to check this.

Do you have any LED lights? Or a burned out lamp?

+1 on that. It usually flashes faster when you have something missing or burned out. I think it is seeing a difference in resistance from what it normally sees. Hello from Williamston, NC.
