How comfy are those bars for the long haul? Seems like the grips are further apart and the grip angles are more pronounced than on the stock mini-apes, but I've never had a chance to check the RSD bars out in person.
I have a Streetbob. I am also lowering an inch. I was looking into getting the v&h comps too. Do you have any scraping issues? I lean a lot and had problems scraping the stock pipes. What do they make for power and sound?
Yea I scrape pretty bad but I also ride pretty hard. The bottom of my pipe is pretty beat up. However, I'm sure this would happen whether or not I had the bike lowered so I just don't worry about it. I think it sounds great and makes pretty good power.
I do wish you could get the RSD Tracker exhaust for a Dyna because I like the way it mounts higher.

I don't know if the grips are really further apart since the bars are pretty narrow to begin with. But the grip angle is definitely more pronounced. I think they are very comfortable since the angle is more natural compared to more horizontal position.

Cool. How's the pullback compared to the stock minis? RSD doesn't say anything about that on their site and I can't find the stock bars' specs that I used to have bookmarked.
Hey Basic: good to see you back around. I have always really liked what you have done to your bikes. Cool you have a streetbob now. I just got back from a 1500 mile haul from Montana to Oregon to see a sick brother. I am loving the bob. just put a handlebar bag on it and away I went. The thing just screams along on the hwy. I could have easily made it back 625 miles in one day as the comfort is definitely there. I ran out of daylight however and had to do it in 2. Best regards . Keep posting those pics.

I actually never rode my bike with the stock bars. The RSD Vintage specs are 30 WIDE X 12 RISE X 6-1/2 CENTER WIDTH X 4 PULLBACK. The rise is measured at the highest point of the bar so hand positions is about 3-4" less since the bars are angled down.
