Oh nice. They flow well with the bike. I think the stockers will look alright with my setup but I want to change them at some point. If I can find someone around here that can true mine for a reasonable cost I may tear them down and powder the hubs and rims satin and spokes gloss with chrome nipples this winter. Or my dealer does a 20% off sale on aftermarket parts a few times a year so maybe I could score the RSD wheels on that deal.
I considered doing that with my stock rims but wanted to get away from spokes to do away with the inner tubes. I love the way spokes look, but didn't want the upkeep either. I lucked up and got my rims for $300 and put on the Pirelli Night Dragons with the 180 in back. I am pleased with the way it turned out. Saw some aftermarket rims I liked but couldn't stomach the prices.
Nice score. Maybe I will have to look at something like that. Yea spokes are alot of upkeep and I've had them on everything so if I buy it will be a solid wheel. But I'm with you...RSDs are $1,200 a wheel, $600 a pulley, and $400 a rotor. That's $3,800 without tires.
I think with the contrast cut stuff I'm using the stock wheels will match well for now. There will be plenty of non-black highlights to tie the hubs in.

I am installing a set of the HD Magnum 5 back cut contrasted wheels on my 06. Also going with a 180 tire and bobbed fender kit on the rear. Still have a lot of work to do before spring once the bike gets home again. Avatar pic is of the bike at the shop waiting it's turn on the dyno after the SE 120R install..

That will be a mean setup man! Those bobbed fenders are cool too. I decided to keep the rear fender stock so I can use the bike for some 2 up riding and some weekend trips with a tour pack. I ran a 120" El Bruto in my CFL that was just over 500 lbs and a rigid. That thing ripped. I'm looking forward to the 103" Stage III with a port and polish that they are finishing up...should move pretty good. I will do a 180 once I have a wheel figured out if I'm not sold on the stock ones when it's all together or just when it's shot after this season. With everyone going 18/21 combos I think I will stick with a 17/19 setup either way I go.
What are the bars?
Would look sharp with the inside of the letters silver with black outline and two circles, thin red inner and thick silver outer. Too many choices.
The bars are Roland Sands Design Vintage. I was going to go with the RSD Short Stack but when I mocked them up they seemed too short to be comfortable on longer rides.
