i want to get my front end powder coated but my headlight is attached to an eyebrow which is bolted to the upper tripple tree. if i wanted to remove the eyebrow how would i mount the headlight?
Check thru some of the previous threads...
Lots of discussion about a headlamp relocate there.
My own experience:
Removed eye-lid headlamp.
Drilled bottom triple and installed 6 1/2" lamp.
Am waiting for my bracket from www.headwinds.com
(on backorder- had a problem with their chrome process so will not ship anything until they know they have a solid product)
The bracket allows you to relocate the idiot lights to the top triple - installs in the holes left when the eye-lid is removed.
Check some of the other threads - some of the guys had other good options for idiot-light relocation...
**update on the Headwinds bracket.
They resolved the chrome process issues and are again shipping.
My bracket has arrived - will post picks once I get the idiot lights relocated.
