All good info guys. Put the Badlander back on and I am going to keep the new one off for now. Also had an unfortunate mishap with a wrench and the back fender... so i guess my answer is, repaint.

Has been one of those weeks I guess.

And the felt along with the rubber bumpers is a great idea, thank you!

I used felt pads that are made for hardwood floors works great!
