Thank God there is an Arizona, otherwise I would have to live in Texas or God forbid California, naw never California the land of idiots and the 9th Circus Court.
Yup,been worrying about the cold wx myself. In fact there's been a coupla times in the last week, near midnite, when I rode thru one of those low places where the cool air piles up that I almost wished I'd worn more than a t-shirt. Don't know what I'm gonna do towards the end of December or first part pf January when it gets down in the fourties.Guess I'll have to see if I can find that long sleeved shirt I bought a few years back and never used.
This morning was the first time I saw my breath leaving work. The ride home is only about 25 minutes so just about the time I realized it was "sorta" cold I was turning up my driveway. While there are usually only a handful of days that really are unrideable in the winter around Albuquerque, the awesome full riding days are rapidly slipping away and it'll be sometime in late April or early May before they return (March/April winds can be brutal).
It's ok though, came to a decision today that next year's Sturgis run is going from here to San Diego, up the coast to Seattle, across the NW and down into Sturgis... bring on the bad weather! It'll give me plenty of time to plan and imagine how good that ride is going to be!!!
