I really want to put a chrome one on mine, but I got to figuring if I had a chrome swingarm I would have to get a chrome caliper and then the chrome caliper bracket. The chrome foot peg mounts. And then figured the front calipers would need to be chromed because they would look out of place, so getting a chrome swingarm added up to a couple of grand quick.
heres mine...01 fxdl....i would get a manual..if it were me i wouldnt just put the swingarm on..i would wait for a tire change or add a new rear sprocket or brake rotor or all of it..get everything together and do it all at once..i know thats hard to do but then you only have to do it one time..more time for ridin..
When I first got the bike I really wanted to put on the chrome swingarm, but now I'm happy I left it black. Have to say though that the pics of the bikes on this thread with the chrome swingarms look awesome!
