Default Fat Bob Windshield

So I just got a Fat Bob (first HD) and although I love the look without a windshield I really believe having done a bit of riding now that I need a small windshield/windscreen/flysceen.
looking at the HD quick detach but at 19"(from top of lights) tall they look like they belong on a road king.
Is anybody out there using a windshield on their FXDF if so what are you using and how do you like it, was it more than or less than $400 and lastly got a photo?
Thanx

I got the one you are referring to that is 19" above the light but I like it. I go the black one also. Think I paid about $300. My eyes are about 2" over the top so I am not looking through the windshield and I am 6'2". I think they have a lower profile one the might be a few inches shorter. But there are many options and brands to choose from. I usually ride without it but on long trips and during the cold winter I definately use it.

I bought a national cycle deflector screen its about 14" tall and looks good as a windshield can look on my fatbob. I run with it off most the time but it works well enough for its smaller size. I am 5'9" tall if I was over 6ft the 14" may not work as well. The price was around $160 shipped not to bad I like the windvest 14" also it has a nicer cleaner looking mount my buddy just bought one but its twice the $$$$ also and not as adjustable for tilt and such.

i'm running the 19" HD quick disconnect also. picked it up half way through a road trip last summer with the intent of taking it off for cruising around town when i got home. it stayed on. i prefer the look without it, but the comfort is great for highway speeds. my buddy got a shorter memphis shades for his bike (metric cruiser) and hates it. says it made things worse.

i think you'll like the full size windshield, but ask 10 people and you'll get 8 different answers.

I think the FB is beefy enough to make the HD shield fit it nicely, ESP around the headlights. I have the tall one, I'm 6'1"...

Here is a picture of how the FXDF looked last year. Several changes already finished and more in progress. This is the shorter HD compact windshield. I have to say it makes a big difference. Especially on my wife. The Fat Bob is primarily her bike. She only weighs about 120 pounds and the wind really beat her around o the highway. This windshield really took the blast off of her chest so she could relax.
