Had a deal st up on a 2011 Road King on Friday. Was set to sign the paperwork and I backed out of the deal. I just couldn't let my Street Bob go. I enjoy riding it too much and I couldn't afford to have both at this time. So I decided to put some cash into the SB, some new bars, exhaust and some throw over saddle bags for long trips. Thanks for all the tips from everyone on which pipes to go. I ordered the Bub lakester's 2 into 1 today!!! I will post pics as soon as I get it all set up
Probably made the right decision. If in doubt - don't. You can always go back and make that deal again. And for now, you'll enjoy your Street Bob even more.

Yep!!! You can get a new bike at anytime; but once the Street Bob is gone, it's most likely gone forever.

Now I'm a lil curious about your sign. pic. Not for the fact that your speedo is reading just shy of 100mph, but is that a water bottle I see placed infront of the speedo? lol
I've often thought about a road king myself as there are things about the road king that appeals to me a lot! But I just can't give up my dyna. As you know it seems to me the dyna can do (just about) anything that a road king can do (properly prepared). .....I plan on keeping the dyna for good. It's just to much fun to ride as you have said. Got two bikes as it is... (wife has 08 XL1200 and I love to ride it from time to time too). I think you won't regret turning down the RK. Yes show us some pics. when done.
I did the same myself a few months ago. Liked the RK a lot but when I rode it I just didn't like the ride better than the Dyna. I have upgraded the suspension on the Dyna and althought mine is an 88ci with a 6 speed the RK did feel quite sluggish with the 96 compared to it. In the long run it was nothing a windshield and saddlebags could't fix for quite a bit less money.
I agree. I love my SB can't wait to do some mods. Maybe next year I will have both, till then I can't justify letting the SB go when I could have both.
