Not really interested if your bike came with one from the factory, more what did you do if it didn't? I hate not knowing if i'm running late or not or if I have time to make a pit stop on my way to work. Lets see how you guys deal with this. BTW leaving earlier is not really going to happen for me. I leave for work at 0445!
I do have one from the factory but I was thinking of changing my speedo put and have been reading on some of the treads that a lot of people are putting a dakota digital on and it has a clock too (http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.c...rod&prd684.htm) or the other option that Ive seen are the bolt on style

You can laugh all you want but I buy 3 or 4 of those dollar store watches at a time. They last a few months. I pop off the band and use cheap two way tape and attach them to the right gas cap. Easy to see, self lighting, takes a couple seconds to replace with a new one when the battery dies, not permanent, leave no marks, they come in every color on earth to blend in with your bike, and are super useful. Hey, I need to know what time it is and you can't see a watch under a leather coat and gloves!
I just upgraded to the spun aluminum speedo. I had no idea when I bought it but was pleasantly surprised to see it has a clock after scrolling by trip A and B
I bought my bike used an it had a nice clock mounted - but I sounded like Santa Claus coming down the road. That thing would jingle all the way. When I change my handle bars the clock was the first part I removed.
I like the cheap dollar store watch idea! My Dakota Digital speedo/tach has a clock, but I'd rather not click through the settings just to see what time it is. I did mount a thermometer, similar to the clocks mentioned above, low down on my windshield and could have mounted a similar clock on the other side, unobtrusive, but still there to look at if I want.
I mainly just use my wrist watch, I might have to peel back some clothing to see it, but I just flip the lever on my $20 "cruise control" and take a peek.
