I'm not a blacked out guy but I have to say, looking at your bikes makes me think twice. It really looks awesome!
I have to know about that rear tire. I have an '09 Super Glide Custom. I would love to lower it and stuff one of those 200's in there. What are your thoughts?
Also, what AC setup is that?

Aside from the 200 tire which is a violation of the bobber rules , bike looks Aamazing.

But my question to you is this, how did the LED light fit ? direct replacement ? or you had to modify something for it ?

Regards

Thanks. The AC is the Arlen Ness Big Sucker 2 with stainless filter. The filter cover is wrinkle black made to fit. The filter is larger than the standard Big Sucker AC's.

I say go for the Progressive front and rear lowering kit. ~$300 for both. You will love it!

im not feeling the black chrome flush mount gas and fuel guage, and then the black diamond grips... kind looks empty up top.

i notice your aluminum compliments the black and i love it, but then you get to your controls and it just blacks out, you lose the contrast of the aluminum up there...

i dont know, maybe im just 6 6 packs to many in my beers, im just saying...

It's cool. I just dig all blacked out bikes. On the internet, it may seem played out, but in the real world, most bikes are all chromed out, especially Harley's. For instance, we stopped over at a Harley dealer to warm up during a ride last weekend, and when I pulled up, my bike stood out in the crowd because everybody there was all chromed out, like bling-bling, and mine looked like a dark storm cloud just rolled in.

The gas and fuel gauge are gloss black. I think it makes the tank smooth and clean. I also like the minimalist look, which is why I removed all the belt guards and turn signals, etc.

I think the angle of the photos is bad for judging how the top looks too blacked out. When sitting on the bike, it looks different to me. The grips and pegs, even though they are called black-diamond, actually look like brushed aluminum. Also, you can see the fork caps better and all the bolt heads are still silver and the speedo ring is still chrome... for now. HAHA!

bike looks awsome.. I am trying to get there myself. Have the 120/3.5R21 Front and 180/5.5R18 Rear Metzelers (I could go with 200 rear but didn't for now). Only thing missing is V&H shortshots. Can't decide Shortshots or Sideshots.. (or just plain shots ;-)) somebody help me!!!
