I agree.
One of the resons why I am waiting next year to drill out heads is because the cam I choosen does great with stock ports. When I decide to step it up another notch, Ill get a bigger cam that will take advantage of bigger ports.

This is what I was afraid of.
So many choices that my head is starting to hurt. I have a lot of thinking to do, and checking the budget, before I get into this.
Thanks for all the input.

If you're gonna bore anyway, you might as well go to 107. It's not gonna cost any more, and you'll get 4 more inches.

103 kit, bore and shave base of cylinders, 555 cam, New stainless hardware for engine, adjustable pushrods, SE lefty bearing, Crankshaft: lightend pluged welded balanced oversize connecting rod bearings, heads shaved glassbeaded, compression releases, Cometic complete kit with .027 HG, SE cylinder studs, exhaust wrap. and minor other things. 1999.00.
Hell if I had to do it for someone Id charge 500.00. Easy job takes about 4 days minus shipping time for parts. Minus dyno and tune. over 100/100
