I'm in the process of blacking out my Street Bob.. Powder coating my front end and various other parts.. including signal lights.. while I was dismantling my signal lights I got the idea to black out the inside of the signal light housing which would be the silver bowl that surrounds the back of the bulb.. I have smoked lenses with the orange bulb.. anyone ever try this?
I don't think blacking out the inside of the bowl would be a good idea.... It would cut way down on the reflectiveness of the bulb.... Plus no one would ever see the inside anyways...
