Default Headlight Question

Gentlemen and Ladies,

If my low beam works but the high beam doesn't, should I look at my switch wiring first or the bulb?

Thanks in advance...

Cange your bulb and see what happens. I once had a headlight do that and then low beam went out completely on the freeway at night. Not fun.

chicken or the egg.

When you have a problem, check first things first.

Bulb don't work, check it first.

Don't touch the bulb with your fingers.

Test light to the receptacle to check for energy at high and low.

I swear I have a rolling Craftsman tool chest full of tools I've used for the very first time. Looks like I'll need to add a voltmeter to that collection.
