Great write up. Really like the way the mods turned out. These details make a huge difference in how the bike looks. The back of the bike is much cleaner with the low profile brake/directional combo and the lay down license plate, and the front end looks way better with the directionals tight to the triple trees and the wiring cleaned up.
Awesome job and great looking Low Rider!
Thanks Bigdaddy...Coming from you that really means a lot...I know exactly what you mean about the little details making the difference. Oh Yeah, Your ride isn't look to shabby either.....Love those new bars.....
I havent looked that close before, after you take off the rear turn signals, what do you do with the holes that are left behind?
Hey Reapergr, that was easy. I have the docking kit for the quick release sissybar and I was using a longer bolt to mount my lights. Once I removed the lights I just put back the stock bolt and the whole was filled. Also when you buy the docking kit it comes with a block off cover that hides the hole were the wires come through. Once all that is installed you can not see any holes at all...
Does anyone know if one could leave there original signal light bar on and still use them with this setup? I think I would want to leave my original signals on for even more visibility. Do you think this makes since?
Sure is a nice price compared to some others out there. Be interesting to see how these hold up.
Nice write up. Cleans it up well back there, and looks great!
Any pics of the brake with the turns on?
Edit: Also, kudos on the Dennis Kirk front sig relocate! I bought and used the same one after reading a handful of comments on this forum on how it doesn't work with the 49mm fork tube. I gotta admit, it took a change in the washers I used to space it out a little different/better...to keep it from rubbing. But other than that, the fit was perfect, and it tucks the lights in much better than the HD ones.
you must of been reading my mind, as I just ordered a license plate relocation from HD and was looking at replacing the rear light/turn signals as well. First though I am ordering up the big shots w/power commander V and a/c replacement...1 mod at a time!
BTW your bike is looking better & better w/each mod

Thanks kirk180...I am liking the smaller light more and more...Really does help to clean up the rear of the bike. The front signals look some much better with the new relocation kit. That was my first order from DK and they were great. Shipped the same day and the kit fit perfectly on the 49mm front end. I do have a picture with the turns on, but not with the brake on as well but i do have one with the brake on by itself. i will attach it to this post. There website, D2Moto.com has a nice video on the light which also come in a smoked lens as well.

Great Minds Think Alike NYdyna...lol The new LED tail light so far has been awesome. I have compared it to the Kuryakyn and I like it much better. The price was awesome and I do not think you can beat it. Like I said in my original post the only thing that I did not like was that there was no wiring diagram, but I was able to figure it out fast. Time will tell on the quality but so far so good. Good call on the Big Shots, love mine. They came with the bike when I bought her last year. The original owner used the Fuelpack which does work well but does not have the customization that you can get with a PC. If I was doing it now the PC would be one of my top choices. Like you have said....1 mod at a time! Also thanks for the compliment on the bike...Next mod is a full service and detailing so I am ready for the season!!!!
It looks really nice. Nothing big but those small things just clean the bike up and make it look sharp. Can you share how to take these electrical connectors apart so I no longer need to splice wires? I am on my second Kuryakyn light which I like but for that price it would be nice to make the bike look cleaner and taking those original turning signals off.
