I tried a fork bag, but it didn't work well with my windshield. When the forks compressed, the bag got squished and put pressure on the shield.

Hey that bag on the battery cover is cool! How did you mount it?

The battery cover band is held on by 4 holes.

Remove the band
Run the leather straps through the holes
Tie tight
Done

Also know guys here who used zip ties, bolts and metal brackets, etc. Anything that will fasten the bag to the box.

However, just my preference, I will be getting a different bag eventually. I prefer something more square and flat.

If you type 'harley fork bag' into the search engine for ebay, you're going to get a whole lot of results of some pretty nice bags at a great price. I got a new one there that I've seen a few members here buy for something like $25 ($35 with shipping). Good quality, fast shipping, and always gets positive customer feedback.

That bag placement looks killer. Works well with your paint scheme.
