Exhaust Question
I'm sure this topic has been beat to death and I've been fishing around the forum for a while now but still, here's we go..
I'm looking for opinions, I'm looking for the best sounding pipes without losing quality. I like em loud and there's a lot of options these days.
V&H, BUB, Sampson, Freedom, Rush, Cobra, etc etc...

I have a 2011 wide glide. The new Harleys come with exhausts that are way to quiet for me. First thing I did was change the pipes. Went with Cobra slashcut, complete exhaust system. It's loud like a Harley is suppose to be, but not obnoxis loud. Had my son take it down the road so I could hear it and it sounded mean. If you leave the factory air cleaner on you wont have to remapp the computer. 600 bucks for the pipes but you get what you pay for. 100% satisfied with these pipes.

Best bet is to go checkout a dealer, bike meet up or something, and listen to what's out there. I thought I wanted v&h's, but after hearing them compared to the T-header, I was sold in it instantly. Went with thunderheader.

The thing is what you think is best sounding, I might think sounds like a prepubescent little girl.... The best thing I can suggest is to hit some bike nights or local motorcycle hangouts and listen to pipes and maybe ask the owner which they are.
