I was using the PC3 but did a big bore build on my bike. I didn't want to spend alot of time and money on the dyno. Bought the Thundermax with autotune installed it and never looked back it runs like a beast.

 

I recently purchased a thunder header exhaust and a SE heavy breather kit for my 2011 dyna wide glide and I need to know what I need to make my bike run right with these mods! Can I get a power commander and do it myself or do I need to put in on a dyno? I really don't want to have to get HD involved in this cuz I'm on a budget and I don't feel like getting raped!!! Any info would help! Thanks

 

I recently upgraded from PCIII to thundermax. Too early to tell (only about 50 miles) but so far i'm happy. Popping eliminated (so far), smoother idle, easier startup, and overall tone of the bike sounds much better.

 

I am using the power vision. The delphi ecm is one of the best from what i have read so reflashing it was the way i wanted to go.

I did however read an interesting article by Nightrider who says you really don't have to do anything as the ecm will adjust for the changes by it self.

I just got the thundermax. Installed it and went on a 1000+ mile trip over the a long weekend. Worked flawlessly. Loved it.

You said you would never go with the last 2 wwhy is that?You rather it be somewhat auto or other reasons? I like the idea of recording on the bike is doing and looking at it and being able to change exactly where you want to change.

 

Just put on a custom tune on my SB and havnt had a single pop yet. Happy with power vision. Good support too.
