Got the aluminum diamond plate at Tractor Supply Company for about $10. Laid out a circle on the flat side then used a jigsaw with a fine tooth blade to cut it out.

Thanks for the response. I just have one more question. What specific tool did you use to cut the stock filter cover and get the middle part perfect to bolt onto the new filter? I am just trying to figure out what I am going to have to use to do it to my stock cover.

 

cut your own man... if not send it to me ill help you out... Mud does them as well... or he used to... i just did one for a forum member last week


on mine i cut it and then coated it and the bolt

Can the Fat bob tear drop cover be cut round and work with the round se or big sucker air cleaner

 

Yep, I am going to cut my red one (or send it to Joe!) when I get the big sucker. Probably in July.

 

get a football cover off ebay, the newtear drop design dosent work as well
