Sux indeed HD SB.
Last weekend was the annual "flood run" here on the west side of the state, and typically has many thousands of riders, but not sure how it went last weekend.....
2" of snow I guess saturday morning.
We were out in Vegas marrying off our last child, and it was in the 90's there.
I got my "goes around" for being a smart *ss and emailing pictures pictures back home spouting off how nice it was out there.....
We have put about 200 miles on this spring so far, but it is a day here and a day there for we have hit 65-70 a couple of days.
2 months from now when its 85, and the dewpoint is in the 70's, we will have forgotten all about this sh*t.....
Hang in there, it's a comin.
I feel your pain.....Miserable winter in NY this year.... Very little riding as there was so much and and ice on the roads. I am on vacation down in the OBX and to make things worse, it is Bike Week here and I had no clue, bike is back at home and I have to ride around in a cage while there are bikes everywhere and pretty good weather to boot.....
Please tell me I'm not the only one suffering here!
I finally get a few days off from work and ready to get the bike out - and I wake up to this! Nearly 9.5" of fresh snow. At least they didn't salt......
That sucks. I don't think I would handle it very well either.
Get on your bike in the garage and make those "vroom, vroom" noises like we all do. I won't tell.
Chicago ain't much better than Wisconsin right now. We had the snow shovels out this week too. I think the weather will finally break the next few days.
As of April 16th, the average high should always be above 60 in our area. By the middle of May, it should be 65. And then 70 by the end of May. So, we're only a few weeks away from good riding weather.
Heck, June isn't that far away either. That's when it's perfect. Of course, when July rolls around and it hits 95 outside with 95% humidity, we'll be dreaming about 60 degree days.
I've thought about moving to Denver for years. I want their mild temps (compared to upper midwest).
