Well, we knew it was going to happen and today it did....first snow of the season!
I got a couple of 100 mile rides in over the weekend and it felt good to be riding in
December. Now it's going to be a matter of finding a day every once in a while where
there's no snow, ice or salt to stretch the bikes legs.
Keep trying! I've been shut down for a week cause of ice and a couple days less than 10F, but 30 today and looks like ridin tomorrow
Our behavioral health department is on the fourth floor right above mine and the screaming and electro-shock therapy I hear through the ceiling is surely some riders who just can't handle it anymore. Dang, hope I don't end up, up there[]

Yep, will be waiting for those days without the snow, ice or salt. No problem with
the cold. As I was driving in to work this morning the trucks were dumping TONS
of salt on the roads. Going to need a good rain to wash away this salt.

I haveta pick up some big stuff, so I had to take the car, but I am set for TX 'winter' riding. Just no more snow/ice. True Texans are horrid winter drivers, and I saw it all day long last Thursday.

Started snowing Wednesday night here, by Friday it was sunny and I still have snow and ice on the ground today. They say it should be up in the 50's tomorrow but still with ice and snow in some places with another cold front coming through on Wed. Don't know when I'll get another chance to ride but I'm with you, drivin me crazy right now.

Your a little more in the mix than I am. Do most of my drivin in the off hours, but I grew up here and know what you mean. Wife is from Ohio and says Texans don't know how to drive in this stuff and I just say your right, we don't.[sm=biker.gif]. To tell you the truth when it has been iced up the most is when I like driving the most. noone else is out and I have 1/2 cup common sense so in all my 47 years only ran over one stop sign in my teen years.
