Yes they're water treated. Yes people have them on their wide glides. Go to their website, and you'll find plenty of helpful info.
Only thing I'm still trying to figure out is if water getting in the top seems to be an issue at all. So if someone's had them in the rain before, please chime in with your findings.
These are the best bags I have ever seen on a Dyna...
I wonder how they would look on my Wide Glide...
What is the cost? Is it an easy install?
Has anyone put these on a late model Wide Glide?
I have a right side bad&g solo bag on my 11 WG and its great. Really just wanted something to carry my sunglasses, gloves, and other small things. So far so good.

Mine should be here next week (or any day as fast as I see some geting them)
But when I first started riding many years ago, I used to ride an old Zuke GS with cordura throw-over saddlebags... There is a trick to keeping stuff dry... It is called kitchen sized glad trash bags... Just use them as liners, twist the top and tuck back down the side... Trust me it'll stay dry!!! I had this set-up and made one of the wettest trips ever; 1200 mile trip from FL to Ft Drum, NY and then back again 6 months later... and many other trips as well...
Unless it is fiberglass and has an o-ring water will find a way to get in...
They do come on and off easily. Only issue I could see is loosening the strut ... which adding a spacer would solve. Took me all of 15 minutes to install
I've got the R6C side mount bracket that bolts to the axel. Do you think the bags would fit on that that side. If not I might try to just run one on the exhaust side.
I was planning on ordering the exact same ones rcaddell has today for my FXDC. Does anyone know how much weight these will hold without sagging? I see on his website that it holds a 12 pack+ but I am wondering from a weight perspective what the limit may be.
I never really plan on putting too much weight in them but it would be nice to know what the max capacity may be.
